You can send us measurements or a design, and if you just want us to make a frame, then we can work off designs. But 99% of the time, we do free site visits and this is our preferred option.
Our typical lead time is 6-7 weeks, but it does depend on the season. Summer is generally a lot busier, so that can make lead time longer, depending on how much work is in the system. Other factors, such as automation systems, whether the gate will be galvanised and the availability of our powder coater, can also affect the lead time.
We generally travel around an hour outside of Christchurch, for example Rangiora, Kaiapoi and Ashburton. However, we do cover all of the South Island. If you are further away, we will communicate with you first to check your commitment and availability before we come out to do a site measure.
We can integrate access control systems. We also have strategic alliances with security companies that can integrate remote monitoring.
Yes. If you live near the sea or high-corrosion areas, we can use hotdip galvanisation or powder coating. If you live near the sea, we do recommend regular cleaning to protect your gate and we'll give you advice on the best way to do this when we install it.
We offer different warranties for automation, as opposed to the gate itself. In general, the warranty is 3 years on automation and 4 years on manufacturing. We do assess the gate or automation first and ensure it hasn’t been tampered with. We may also look at replacing materials. Labour is charged in this case.
For gates that we install, yes. For commercial gates, we will service them every 6 months and for residential gates, we will service them annually. Servicing is highly recommended to ensure your gate operates reliably and to avoid any unexpected issues.
Yes, we do offer repairs and maintenance even if we did not manufacture the gate. If you have purchased a property with an existing gate that needs repairs, get in touch. We also offer upgrades for existing gates.
