SLIDING GATES
Sliding gates slide neatly open behind a fence or wall. They are often installed if there is not enough space in the driveway area for gates to swing in or out. Sliding gates are also harder to force open, which can make them more secure. We offer two types of sliding gates.
- Tracked gates run on wheels which roll along a track fitted into the ground. These are suitable when the ground around the gate is already level, and the driveway will be concrete. If the driveway is already laid, parts may need to be dug up so the track can be installed.
- Cantilever gates float slightly above the ground and roll along a system mounted on the fence or wall. They are a better option for uneven ground or driveways which have gravel.
SWING GATES
Swing gates open inwards or outwards on an arc. They require more space for operation than sliding gates. Swing gates can be installed with different operators depending on usage and style preferences.
Quality processes for superior results
We know that gates need to withstand New Zealand's harsh elements so we use quality processes to ensure they do that.
This includes hot dip galvanising for every gate we make. This procedure, which adds a thin coating of rust resistance, not only protects the visible steel bars but also the welded areas that lower-cost options may miss.
Powder coating enables us to create gates in a colour that matches your surroundings as well as giving your gate a longer-lasting finish compared to traditional paint.
